Empowering Your Educational Journey

We acknowledge that the land on which we work, learn, and grow is the traditional territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, and the Stoney Nakoda Nations (Chiniki, Bearspaw, Goodstoney). We also recognize the Otipemisiwak Métis Government (Districts 5 and 6) who have called this land home. This land has been a site of resistance, survival, and flourishing for Indigenous peoples since time immemorial. It is with deep respect that we honour the legacy of the ancestors and their descendants who have cared for this land and its people.
We acknowledge and honour the ongoing contributions of Indigenous peoples in shaping our communities. We commit to Truth and Reconciliation and decolonization. We stand in solidarity and community in the struggle for self-determination, justice, and the preservation of culture, language, and traditional knowledge.
We acknowledge the ongoing impact of colonization and actively resist the forces of colonial violence and erasure. We will always support and amplify Indigenous voices and actions towards healing and sovereignty across Turtle Island and globally.
We hold sacred the stories woven in the soil.
From our hearts to yours, may we continue to listen, to be accountable, and to move in harmony with the land — together.
With respect, with love, and with the deep understanding that healing is a collective responsibility that begins with the land and our interconnection with all our relations.
“E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G—is connected.
The soil needs rain, organic matter, air, worms and life in order to do what it needs to do to give and receive life. Each element is an essential component.
Organizing takes humility and selflessness and patience and rhythm while our ultimate goal of liberation will take many expert components. Some of us build and fight for land, healthy bodies, healthy relationships, clean air, water, homes, safety, dignity, and humanizing education. Others of us fight for food and political prisoners and abolition and environmental justice.
Our work is intersectional and multifaceted.
Nature teaches us that our work has to be nuanced and steadfast.
And more than anything, that we need each other—at our highest natural glory—in order to get free.”

A living archive of justice-centred writing,
each piece weaves poetry, pedagogy, and purpose
into reflections on land, learning, and leadership —
written in rhythm, not reaction.
These written pieces are invitations:
To slow down.

Our Services
Facilitation & Workshops
Deepening Education, Uprooting Injustice
The facilitation service provides educators, communities, and collectives with the tools and guidance to cultivate a collaborative, participatory process to design strategies that adapt to evolving conditions and centre community wisdom. This service is focused on education, organizing, building relationships, and creating flexible structures that can adjust to emerging needs in real time.
The dynamic, interactive workshops are designed to guide individuals and collaborators through deep, transformative learning about systemic oppression, privilege, and restorative and transformative justice. With a focus on culturally responsive and competent pedagogy, inclusive practices, and abolitionist principles, each session empowers participants to examine their roles in perpetuating systems of inequity and offers concrete tools to drive change. Tailored to meet your context, lived experience, and prior knowledge, these workshops will challenge perceptions and foster actionable strategies for creating just, equitable environments and transformational educational experiences.
As integrated services, the facilitations and workshops are designed to generate shared leadership and collaborative action.
Collective Strategy Design
Co-Creating Emergent, Anti-Oppressive Environments
This service offers a collaborative approach to co-designing emergent, anti-oppressive systems tailored to your community, whether it is an organization, a grassroots collective, or educational environment. We will support your work and co-create adaptive, inclusive, and sustainable frameworks that are centred from long-term liberation, land-based learning, and aligning your collective vision with daily practices, ensuring that structures and processes align with equity-centred and life-affirming values..
This is an opportunity to co-design, reflect, and ground your vision in collective consensus sessions to create a plan that evolves over time but is rooted in practical application and practice.
Transformative Education & Pedagogy
Cultivating Adaptive and Student-Centered Learning
This service empowers educators to cultivate adaptive, justice-centred learning environments that evolve with the needs of their students and communities. Using the principles of restorative and transformative protocols and practice, we support educators in building inclusive classrooms where equity, collective empowerment, and student voice are prioritized. This service focuses on developing flexible, responsive teaching practices that can shift as social, cultural, and educational dynamics evolve. Through workshops, co-planning, and ongoing support, educators will learn how to weave anti-oppressive pedagogy into their daily practices and co-create curricula that reflect the diverse, lived experiences of their students. This service also takes into consideration the specific contexts of educators, the political landscape of their location, and how to navigate through these oppressive mechanisms or restrictions with integrity.
The aim is to inspire educators to lead with intentionality, creating spaces that promote deep learning, liberation, and empowered education for all students.
